Shipping & Return Policy

SHIPPING:

First-class customer service is our number one goal, that includes receiving your order in a timely manner! Orders are packed and shipped during business days only (Monday - Friday) and are shipped within 3 -5 business days from the order confirmation date, unless one of your items is a made to order product, or if it is out-of-stock and requires us to order it. If the item is out-of-stock or we need to order it, we will contact you via email or telephone to discuss the production time with you.

*If we do not have an item in stock and need to order it from any of our European vendors, please expect a longer delay in shipping. Once again, we will contact you to discuss shipping times.

*During the peak season, it may take longer than usual.

Refused Shipments

Refused shipments are subject to a 20% restocking fee and the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs. Bark Fifth Avenue, accepts no liability for any loss resulting from the customer’s failure to comply with our carrier’s delivery. If the carrier has to return the shipment to us, then the customer will be liable for all shipping charges and credited for all merchandise returned in sellable condition.

PayPal

If you make your purchase using PayPal or PayPal Express, we will begin to process your order only AFTER we receive payment through PayPal. If there is a hold on payment, then your order will not be processed or shipped until funds are released and paid to Bark Fifth Avenue.

Return Policy:

We are unable to cancel or make changes to your order after you have placed it with us.

The customer is responsible for all outbound and return shipping costs.

Please Note: For international orders, Bark Fifth Avenue does not reimburse for Duties/Tariffs paid.

Returns and Exchanges:

 

Defective merchandise must be returned within 20 days of initial claim for credit or exchange only.

You must contact us within 30 days of order placement if your item has not arrived. We will not be held responsible for notifications after that time.

For the first exchange of an item, you pay shipping/handling charges for the exchange. If a second exchange is necessary, shipping/handling fee will be applied.

*Refunds will be given in the form of store credit only.

Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Your order may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country.

 

Exchanges:

When exchanging one item for another, the value of the returned item will be applied as a credit towards the new item you are requesting. If the price of the new item is higher, we will charge you for the difference. If the price of the new item is lower, we will issue you a store credit (provided your return was received within 30 calendar days from date of invoice).

Your exchange item may be out of stock by the time your return is received. We suggest you list several style numbers and note in the comments section which is your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice. OR, specify that you would like to receive an Online Store Credit. If your exchange is out of stock or on back order, a store credit will be issued.

Limitation of Liability
Bark Fifth Avenue shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if Bark Fifth Avenue has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

How to measure

1.) The Broadest part of the chest (shown as Chest on the illustration above) For chest measurement, measure the chest at its widest point, which is typically right behind the front legs. If the dog has a large girth, going up a size in the top line measurement is always a smart choice, since some additional fabric will be used up.

2.) The Length of the backbone (shown as Back Length on the illustration above) Measuring should be done along the dog's backbone from the base of the head to the base of the tail. This is from the base of where the collar rests to where the tail is attached. The measurements you see on all our apparel indicate this top line measurement. However, it's important that the dog's girth be taken into account as well as the top line measurement.

3.) The Circumstances of the neck (shown as Neck on the illustration above) The neck size determine whether the dog will be comfortable wearing clothing. If the neck is too tight, the dog would be hard to breath. There are different sizing ranges for different types of garments, due to how binding or flexible the material used is. The most important is the chest size, so if the chest size is ok the other will not matter.
